Talking of barbecuing...
...can you think of anything better than a Shiraz burger?
To make homemade shiraz burgers you will need:
- 470ml i heart Shiraz (the rest of the bottle is for drinking!)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 450g lean mince beef
- pinch salt and pepper
- Worchestershire sauce.
Heat the wine and sugar, stirring until it is dissolved, then boil for about 25 minutes until it has thickened and reduced.
Crumble the mince in a bowl, add seasoning and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce.
Then add 60ml of the Shiraz sauce, mix it all together and shape 3 burger patties.
There you go. Tasty and impressive!
